Volunteer With Us
Join Our Friendly Team of Volunteers
Are you passionate about helping others? Do you believe in the power of a compassionate community? If so, we invite you to join us in our mission to create a community where no one need feel isolated or lonely.
We provide compassionate care and companionship to individuals who may be feeling isolated or in need of a friend. That person may be an individual recovering from an illness, a single parent newly moved to the area, or a person recently bereaved.
We offer support through our essential one to programs: befriending and buddy walking. We also provide drop-in services such as coffee meet ups, events and the scone café in North Berwick. We also welcome people who would like to help at one of events during Absent Friends or Demystifying Death Weeks.
By volunteering with us, you can make a tangible difference in someone’s life. Your companionship and support can brighten someone’s day and provide them with the connection they need. We understand that everyone has busy lives, so whether you have a few hours spare each week or just an hour at a time, we have options to fit your availability.
We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to all our volunteers. When you volunteer with us, you become part of a supportive community dedicated to making a positive impact. You’ll have the opportunity to meet like-minded people who share your passion for helping others in our community.
